How much does it cost to grade an IB essay with MyRevisionAgent?
One token grades one full IB essay - TOK, Extended Essay or Internal Assessment. Your first 2 tokens are free on signup and work on any grader. Additional tokens are sold in packs from the Tokens page, with the largest packs offering the lowest per-token price.
Do MyRevisionAgent tokens expire?
Tokens you buy never expire - once you've topped up, they stay on your account indefinitely. The monthly plan works differently: its grades reset at each renewal and do not roll over. The two are kept separate, so a plan renewal never touches tokens you have bought.
Is there a subscription?
Yes, optionally. The monthly plan is £25.99 for 5 grades a month, which resets on your renewal date - unused grades do not roll over. Plan grades also get premium feedback, written by our most capable AI - too expensive to run on every grade, so only plan grades get it. The mark itself is calculated the same way for everyone. Plan runs are also never turned away at peak: when we are at capacity they hold their place for up to 5 minutes instead of being refunded. You can also stay pay-as-you-go and buy token packs whenever you need them; tokens bought that way never expire. Cancel the plan any time from the Tokens page.
Can I get a refund for unused tokens?
Yes. UK and EU consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period on a token purchase or a first plan subscription, during which we refund unspent tokens and unused plan grades. Tokens already spent on a grade are non-refundable because the digital service has been delivered. Outside the cooling-off window, refunds for unspent tokens are at our discretion - email us and we'll review the request.
